Welcome to the KPSA coaching team! We’re excited to have you on board for our Grades 3–8 travel program in the BAYS league, under Mass Youth Soccer (MYSA). As a coach, you're playing a key role in developing young athletes both on and off the field. Below is your quick-start guide with important info and links.
✅ COACHING REQUIREMENTS
Before you step onto the field, MYSA requires the following:

CORI Background Check

SafeSport Training (federal law)

Concussion Training (CDC or NFHS)

Coach Registration via MYSA’s U.S. Soccer Connect system
Please complete ASAP. You must be fully cleared before participating in practices or games.
Teams are allowed up to 3 credentialed adults on the team sideline. Credentialed adults MUST be WEARING current season credential ID.

🧑🏫 PRACTICES & FIELDS

Each travel team will have two 1-hr practice slots per week at the same field.
Practice schedule coordinated with Head Coach of each team.

You’ll receive practice slots and field maps before the season starts.
🎽 EQUIPMENT
KPSA provides balls, cones, pinnies, first aid kit, etc. Equipment will be distributed to teams at the pre-season coaches meeting. If you need anything additional throughout the season, please reach out to [email protected]

Use of StackTeam is available to all KPSA teams. You are welcome to choose another platform if you prefer.
